She has co-authored Before You Tie the Knot: A Guide for Couples and What Islam Says About Domestic Violence. She is particularly interested in the ways in which faith and spirituality can be used as resources for prevention and intervention. Ms. Abugideiri currently works in private practice in northern Virginia.
