About

Mission – The Hyderabadi Association of Central Pennsylvania (HACPA) is a non-profit organization founded in 2020 by a group of Hyderabadis living in the Greater Harrisburg area to support their vision to create an inclusive community for Hyderabadis living in the United States. HACPA is committed to addressing the social, cultural, and educational needs of Hyderabadi Muslim community in Central PA and promote the rich traditional cultural lifestyle of Hyderabadi Muslims.

Board – The Board of the Hyderabadi Association of Central Pennsylvania (HACPA) serves as the governing body for the Association. The Board is comprised of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Working Members. Meetings are held monthly to discuss issues and activities for the Association.

The Board manage the affairs of the Association, help organize annual cultural and educational events, create a community based on Islamic principles and to promote a Hyderabadi Urdu culture among people of the Islamic faith.
